supervisor and village. The Research and Development wing can also set the ideal
time for sowing based on the farmlands.
Crops Forecast can be done based on various parameters which are either controllable or non controllable
such as weather conditions. Crops forecast are a good tool which could be used very effectively for what-if
analysis. In general the Crop Forecast can be based on weather factors, soil/water conditions and on
cultivation practices. This feature helps for proper fund management and resource mobilization.
Standard Cultivation Practices once defined can be implemented and monitored through GroMAX.
The ERP can also generate the percentage of increase in yield if Standard Cultivation Practices are followed
Field History and Adjacent Crop Information can be stored in the system. If adjacent farms use
high-risk pesticides, GroMAX have the capability to grade such crops as feed stock.
GroMAX also provides field history which helps the management to take well-informed decisions.
Food Safety Controls are automatically activated based on the initial set up done in GroMAX.
A contract farm using a high-risk/banned pesticide during the previous crop cycle is automatically
highlighted and handled appropriately. This is an example of backward traceability, a key factor in
the agro industry. GroMAX provides traceability wherever applicable.
Farmer Grading System can evaluate performance of farmers. This is made possible by maintaining extensive
transaction history like expected output,actual yield, cultivation practices etc. Parameters for grading
the farmers could be defined within GroMAX.
Competitor Information can also be stored.
Farmer details like financial and social history and performance record can all be maintained through GroMAX.
Mapping of farms is possible in GroMAX. The module also allows for pictures to be uploaded.
Hygiene & Sanitation and GMP can be defined and logged as per predetermined standards.
